„Curie_Meitner_Lamarr
indivisible” is a co-production of portraittheater and the Drachengasse Theatre
in Viena. The show brings to stage the stories of three prominent pioneers that
exemplary represent feminine accomplishments in technical and scientific
fields: : double Nobel Prize winner and inventor of radioactivity Marie Curie,
physicist Lise Meitner, a specialist in atomic physics and Austrian born
actress, Hedy Lamarr, with her research in the field of frequency hopping. As
different as their life choices were, their biographies were all the more
similar. Their lives as women can’t be separated over their course as
researchers. Sequences from their lives, their successes and the obstacles
overcome by these are interwoven within the show with scientific content and
passion for research.
